SUN-125K-SG02HP3-EU-GM10 is a 125kW three-phase hybrid inverter designed for commercial and industrial photovoltaic systems that require intelligent energy generation, storage and management.
The inverter can be integrated into production facilities, warehouses, farms, commercial buildings, logistics centres and other installations with high energy consumption.
High power for commercial and industrial applications
The inverter delivers a rated AC active power of 125kW and supports a maximum PV input power of 200kW. Its maximum AC input/output apparent power is 135kVA.
In off-grid mode, the inverter can deliver a peak power equal to 1.5 times its rated power for 10 seconds. This capacity helps supply equipment with high start-up currents.
10 MPPT trackers
The model is equipped with 10 MPPT trackers and two string inputs for each MPPT.
This configuration allows multiple groups of solar panels to be connected and provides greater flexibility for installations with different panel orientations, tilt angles or lighting conditions. The MPPT operating range is 150–850VDC, while the maximum permitted PV input voltage is 1000VDC.
High-voltage batteries
The inverter is compatible with high-voltage lithium-ion batteries operating within a voltage range of 160–1000VDC.
The two independent battery inputs allow a total maximum charging and discharging current of 200A. The charging strategy automatically adapts based on communication with the battery management system.
Using a high-voltage architecture helps reduce system currents and achieve high efficiency in high-power installations.
On-grid and off-grid operation
The SUN-125K-SG02HP3-EU-GM10 can operate both connected to the utility grid and in off-grid applications.
The AC coupling function allows the inverter to be integrated into an existing photovoltaic installation and upgraded with an energy storage system.
The inverter provides six programmable time periods for battery charging and discharging. Energy can be managed according to consumption, photovoltaic production, grid availability and electricity tariff periods.
The equipment also supports storing energy supplied by a diesel generator.
Modular system expansion
For projects requiring higher power, up to 10 inverters can be connected in parallel for both on-grid and off-grid operation.
The system also supports multiple batteries connected in parallel. This configuration enables modular installations that can be expanded as energy consumption increases.
High efficiency
The inverter achieves:
- maximum efficiency of 98.7%;
- European efficiency of 98.1%;
- MPPT efficiency above 99%.
The intelligent air-cooling system adjusts its operation according to the inverter temperature and load.
Monitoring and communication
Operating information is displayed through the LCD screen and LED indicators.
The inverter features RS485, RS232 and CAN communication interfaces. Depending on the accessories used, monitoring can be performed via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, 4G or LAN.
Integrated protection features
The inverter includes:
- DC reverse-polarity protection;
- AC output overcurrent protection;
- thermal protection;
- AC output overvoltage protection;
- AC output short-circuit protection;
- DC component monitoring;
- anti-islanding protection;
- DC switch;
- insulation impedance detection;
- residual current detection;
- Type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides;
- optional AFCI protection.
The IP65-rated enclosure protects the equipment against dust and water jets. The operating temperature range is −40°C to +60°C, with power derating above 45°C.
